Okay, so I made a thread where -anyone- may post here to ask questions about anything in particular. All the other boards are limited to members only, but I was wondering if I should make the audition pages open to guests as well? That way, you're not required to sign up, and it may be more convenient for people to come and go..?

If you've ever seen those nico nico douga videos, they have an image tag that shows up when the singer sings their lines.

For that, you submit any image of an hello! pro member that you like as well as the name you'd like to represent youself.

Since there is commonly overlap in the members, we decided that you can claim the same H!P member as another person, BUT the image must be different.

I hope that clears it up =]

The image you pick isn't based on whether or not you sound like the original singer. It pretty much shows that the singer is your favourite in all of Hello! Project OR you want their image to represent your voice. It's probably better to pick it for yourself because once you pick it, you won't be able to change it and will be reused in future dubs if you choose to participate again. Best pick someone you like, type their name into google and pick from there ^^

If you really cannot pick, Hikki can pick a random one for you though it's all random then

It works a bit differently here at H!PC. When it says auditions, it literally means open for lines submission, so everytime you audition, it's specific for that particular song. You're free to submit as many lines as you want for future pieces tho

Hmm, I would say that Hikki has the final say since she's the once who makes all the name tags. :3 If you use them on this forum, I would say it's fine, but just to be on the safe side, I'd wait for her to take a look at this question

Okay, ahhh... Gomen, I didn't add about using them on here. Thats what I ment but I have just relised that I didn't put that down.

This might be a weird/impatient question but, do you know what the next song will be? =D

It depends on whichever mixer+producer decide on, but the next one I'm holding is Morning Coffee, and I'm gonna be working forwards from there, chronologically You can put in suggestions to what you would like though, which might influence some choices

Really sorry, this may seem like a dumb question, but how/where do we audition?

I read the audition page but I don't really get it... Where do we post our audition and do we just post our lines and stuff or do we wait to get in first? Sorry but it kind of confuses me ^^;;;

The chorus group works a bit differently from the traditional dubbing group, so it's a new concept for everyone ^^a

There's really no audition to get "into the group." It's just when a song comes up with open "auditions" and you want to be a part of it, you record the parts stated in the first post and send it in. You'll automatically be included in the mixing and there's no "you might or might not get it." You just do by default, though depending on how workable your lines are, we try to assign you a solo the best we can.

I'm currently working on formatting the dub, Morning Coffee at the moment, so you'll see a new post up in the Morning Musume group soon

I think Hikki would prefer it if you send in the image with a submission so it dosn't get confusing who has sent in files or not
